Industry and Media Launch Party at Dolmen Property Group’s PDR Space in Bayview
SAN FRANCISCO (July 13, 2016) – Seven Stills of SF, a local distillery specializing in creating whiskey’s distilled from their own craft beers, will hold a Grand Opening for their new brewery, distillery and tasting room on Saturday, July 16. Their new location is in the quickly expanding production, distribution and repair (PDR) hub, UrbanPointSF, a development owned and operated by local developer Dolmen Property Group. The state-of-the-art facility, at 4,400 square feet, has been under development since 2015, after Seven Stills relocated from their previous location in SOMA. Prior to their public grand opening, Seven Stills will also host an industry and media launch party on July 14.
“Seven Stills focuses on making whiskeys from craft beers -- with our vision to serve our whiskeys alongside the beers they are made from -- and we can finally do that in our new, customized facility here at UrbanPointSF,” said Tim Obert, founder of Seven Stills. “We’re very excited to be at UrbanPointSF with loads of creative momentum in the surrounding community of local makers, and are greatly appreciative of the support we have received from Dolmen Property Group as we prepared for this launch.”
Seven Stills is one of several local artisan businesses that share space within UrbanPointSF ecosystem of small local San Francisco businesses. The 28,000-square-foot PDR facility is also home to Azalina’s Malaysian Kitchen, Artis Coffee, and Laughing Monk Brewery. Currently fully leased, an expansion to UrbanPointSF is underway, which will include the development of eight more industrial creative PDR spaces, each with 3,500 square feet.

Seven Stills has taken space next door to Laughing Monk Brewery, which celebrated it’s own grand opening at UrbanPointSF in April. Seven Stills will house their production equipment in the back of their space with a taproom up front for customers to walk in and sample up to 10 of Seven Stills' beers on tap, which are only now available to the public. Saturday’s Grand Opening event will feature live music, food truck vendors to accompany both the introduction of an extremely limited barrel-aged beers and the first release of Seven Stills’ craft beers and whiskey.
Located in Bayview, UrbanPointSF occupies more than half a city block. The surrounding area boasts ample parking, light traffic, and walkable access to restaurants, coffee shops, grocers, and recreational areas. UrbanPointSF is a short walk from several MUNI stops, the Third Street Rail and Interstates 101 and 280, making transportation of customers, vendors and products to and from the city proper easily accessible.
