Spencer Moore, Senior Strategist
 

For nearly three decades, Spencer has directed award-winning public relations and marketing programs for companies, brands and start-ups. He’s worked for five of the world's largest public relations firms, on behalf of many global clients such as DuPont, Jack Daniel’s, Jamba Juice and Williams-Sonoma. 

A consummate public relations generalist, Spencer has promoted clients spanning a slew of practice areas and industry segments, including real estate, architecture, building products and consumer technology, as well as held many corporate and internal communications roles, amassing deep experience in crisis communications and issues management.

For the past 15 years, his work has focused on real estate and the A/E/C community throughout the West Coast, managing PR and marketing efforts for prominent real estate developers, as well as their high-profile developments and project teams – all in association with Chase Communications.

Spencer’s reputation management expertise has benefited developers such as TMG Partners, MacFarlane Partners, Related and Urban Pacific. He’s announced acquisitions, promoted individual projects, and positioned executives as expert media sources and industry thought leaders, as well as spearheaded winning nominations for more than 40 company honors, including 23 influential San Francisco Business Times’ “Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards.”

Spencer has directed media relations, marketing, community relations, social media and event efforts, as well as supported sales/leasing, for dozens of residential, office and mixed-use developments, including:

  • One Rincon Hill, the fastest selling condominium pre-sale in San Francisco history; 

  • Axis, a catalyst for residential development in Downtown San Jose; 

  • Pershing Square Renew, a public/private partnership to overhaul a landmark space in Downtown Los Angeles; and, 

  • UC Davis West Village, among the first zero net energy student housing developments. 

Spencer also has established relationships in the local, national and international real estate and A/E/C community: from real estate developers, property managers, real estate brokers, architects, engineers and construction executives; to industry related reporters, publications and vendors; to key organizations and non-profits such as AIA, SPUR, ULI, San Francisco Design Center, LuxeSF, Bay Area Council and the U.S. Green Building Council in California, as well as similar entities in other markets. 

A San Francisco resident for more than two decades, Spencer earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
